On our small-scale family farm bordering the Weerterheide nature reserve, we bring together two sustainable seasonal traditions: natural pasture-fed Charolais beef following the nose-to-tail philosophy, and eco-friendly living Christmas trees in pots that return to the earth after the holidays.

Pasture-Fed Beef
Our Charolais cattle graze on herb-rich nature pastures. We only sell balanced nose-to-tail beef boxes (~12 kg): an honest cross-section of the animal with steak, entrecôte, ribeye, stewing beef, braising steaks, roast beef, shank and mince.
- 100% pasture-fed on our own Limburg nature land
- No preventive antibiotics & raised on a small scale
- Saturday pickup (bring your own cool box to the farm)

Winter Season Adoption
Anne’s Christmas Trees
No throwaway trees that end up on the bonfire after two weeks. We lease living Christmas trees in pots with intact roots. Look after the tree over the holidays, bring it back in January and get your deposit back while we replant it in the field.

- Guaranteed deposit refund: transparent lease price + deposit

Van de Weerterheide stands for farming that follows nature’s own pace. We don’t force growth, we don’t waste valuable parts of the animal, and we don’t cut down trees for temporary decoration. Everything that leaves our farm has been raised with care, is honestly priced and can be traced back to our own fields.
